Smith he is not.
A failed tradesman in all traditional dwarven skills, a forsaken worshipper of Moradin (he is not sure who has forsaken who,but there is no love here anymore)
Having turned to a motto of “cant make it, just take it” he found himself surrounded by many exotic and beautiful things, until his father found the same.
Disgraced, his father threw him from his house, advising him to leave the dwarven stronghold within 24 hours or he would alert the paladins and have him jailed!
Rayalf left, leaving his family, his name and his treasures behind.
Hence he is a traveller. Strong and nimble he can look after himself, but knows how to avoid direct confrontation if he needs to.
Rayalf believes that you never really know anyone truly, and his resentment for his father shows sometimes but he tries hard to keep it hidden.
Then he met Ridonerl.
Eladrin, though strangely he seemed more kin than any other he had met in the “Outside”, Ridonerl and Rayalf have not been travelling together long, just enough to begin to like each other, but not long enough to know each other well.
